The Kirchberger-Scherer family has been managing the Fischerwirt at Lake Achen for four generations with immense dedication and passion. The whole family and team offer guests a truly warm welcome and make everyone feel at home from the moment they arrive. From cosy single rooms to suites, guests can expect maximum comfort and stylish furnishings. A great attention to detail combined with historic elements and high-quality materials ensure a wonderfully unique experience.

Massages and Saunas
Forget everyday life and relax and unwind or simply end an active day outdoors with a visit to our relaxing, regenerating and vitalising sauna! In our wellness area guests can use our Finnish sauna, bio Swiss pine sauna, infrared heat seats and infrared cabin. Massages are also available.

We can also provide the following utensils for babies (deposit required): if you are not bringing these items with you and require them, please state when making your reservation.

As well we can provide a free kids’ buggy for the duration of your stay which means you have more room in your car and less luggage!

Playground in Achenkirch – directly by Lake Achen
There is a great playground for kids not far from the Fischerwirt, directly by the bathing bay in Achenkirch where the water is also significantly warmer than in the rest of the lake.
