Feasible from March to December, the route retraces old military tracks and trails used for transhumance, offering uphill and downhill sections of single-track immersed in woods of pines and hornbeams. With start and end points in Colle di Nava, two main climbs on opposite slopes and the descents along ancient mountain huts, the route offers a journey of discovery to the nineteenth-century forts nestled in the stunning panorama of the Alps and of the sea.
Access by car: Exit the motorway at the tollbooth of Imperia, then continue on the National road SS1, turn onto the National road SS28 in the direction of Pornassio.
