The route passes the campsite, goes a short distance along the road toward Höfen. Then it goes uphill and over the foothills of the Langenbrand heights, back down to the Hohenackerhütte barbecue area. Another short downhill section and the route winds through a lot of forest back uphill and around the town of Langenbrand back to the mountain parking lot.

A8 to Pforzheim, then via B463 to Unterreichenbach, from there via Schwarzenberg to Schömberg, on L343 to the P3 mountain parking lot at the town exit
