Circular route Hirsau - Oberreichenbach - Schweinbachtal - Hirsau

The route starts at the car park in front of the historic St. Peter and Paul monastery complex in the Calw district of Hirsau. Before or after the hike, it is worth exploring the monastery and the adjacent hunting lodge with a guided monastery tour or on your own and immersing yourself in the history of this important place of worship. From the monastery, the route first leads through the town before going up the hill through the fragrant forest full of spruces and pines. Wide forest paths and great hiking trails alternate wonderfully on this section. In Oberreichenbach, we make a short loop before the hiking route leads us into the idyllic Schweinbachtal. A small detour at the beginning is worth it down to the Stone Bridge - a great spot for a souvenir photo. Narrow paths lead through the valley, crossing the babbling stream several times. At the end, the hike also passes the deer enclosure before we return to the monastery car park.
