A warm welcome to our mountain & lake holiday oasis, “Ferienoase Berg & See”– surrounded by small and large ski resorts. The Carinthian ski pass is available on a daily or weekly basis and allows you to choose flexibly from even 31 resorts, depending on snow conditions, weather and wind.

You can reach the Kanzelbahn or Klösterlebahnen lifts of the Gerlitzen Alpe and Simonhöhe in approx. 20 minutes; Hochrindl, Falkert Heidi Alm, Bad Kleinkirchheim and Turracher Höhe in 28-38 minutes from us.

Our new, lovingly furnished holiday apartment with terrace and garden awaits you on a sunny hillside location at 606 metres above sea level, above the fog line of the lakes, with beautiful views of gentle hills, the 1900m-high Gerlitzen Alpe and first peaks of the Julian Alps.

A small retreat for relaxing days alone, as a couple or with a small family. The flat is also ideal for temporary living.

The small town is a charming district capital with short distances and excellent infrastructure for everyday life – the main square, weekly market, restaurants and all kinds of shops are within walking distance or a few minutes’ drive away.

For anyone looking for relaxation close to the hustle and bustle but not right in the middle of it, yet with all the possibilities.

Experience the Carinthian mountains and lakes in winter:
Our location in the middle of the Carinthian lakes and mountains and in the Alpe-Adria region offers ideal conditions for a variety of activities for all generations:

• Ski holidays – reliable, snow-sure ski areas at approx. 2000 m altitude from December to April, in particular the larger Gerlitzen Alpe and Turracher Höhe, as well as the idyllic Falkert with few slopes but a great children's ski area. Bad Kleinkircheim also offers many slopes and huts, while Hochrindl and Simonhöhe are among the smaller, charming family ski areas. Depending on the winter, cross-country skiing trails are available e.g. in Feldkirchen, Gnesau, Bad Kleinkirchheim, Hochrindl, Turracher Höhe.
• Winter holidays on Carinthian lakes and mountains: snowshoeing and winter hiking possible in many areas. Ice skating on ice rinks or frozen lakes nearby such as Flatschacher See, Goggausee, as soon as approved by authorities.
• Thermal baths with spa offers, two in Bad Kleinkirchheim, two in Villach – particularly popular in winter.
• Intercultural: day trips in the Alps-Adriatic region, to Italy or Slovenia

Accessibility and mobility:

• Feldkirchen in Carinthia is located between Klagenfurt and Villach, our “Ferienoase Berg&See” is 1.5 km away from the train station. Direct trains to/from Vienna run 2-3 times a day, without changing trains. Long-distance trains also stop at Villach Hbf, Klagenfurt Hbf, Pörtschach and St. Veit/Glan with transfer options.
• The opening of the Koralmbahn railway on 14 Dec 2025 has significantly reduced the travel time between Graz/Vienna and Klagenfurt. Only 41 minutes from Graz to Klagenfurt, 3 hours 10 minutes from Vienna! NEW from 1 March 2026: Westbahn will start operating high speed services on Koralmbahn from Vienna/Graz to Carinthia, 5 times a day with a stop in Pörtschach am Wörthersee, 18 minutes by car to us.

From the Feldkirchen, St. Veit/Glan, Villach Hbf and Klagenfurt Hbf stations, the ÖBB Carinthia station shuttle takes our guests directly to the holiday oasis.
