The starting point of this hike is the parking lot in the valley end in Hüttschlag. Right at the Talwirt guesthouse, you can enjoy regional delicacies or purchase homemade bacon. On the first floor, you will find the Mountain Forest exhibit as well as an information point for the Hohe Tauern National Park.
The path leads you past the Stockham farm and the old Seegut before running through the meadows of the valley end up to just before the Ötzlsee. After about half an hour, you will reach your destination.

Drive with your own car to the valley end of Hüttschlag (parking facilities) or take the Postbus No. 540 to the Talschluss bus stop. Hike on the flat path No. 27 into the car-free valley end up to just before the Ötzlsee, approx. 1/2 hour - return is via the same path.
