Created with mindfulness in mind, this thoughtfully designed themed trail between the Hecherhütte and Rehmbergalm combines nature, interactive experiences, and peaceful places to pause. It transforms a simple walk into a relaxing escape in the mountains – personal, close to nature, and wonderfully unhurried.
The trail begins on the right-hand side directly in front of the Hecherhütte. From there, follow the wide path past the various themed stations. The trail ends at the junction leading to the Rehmberghütte.

Viehhofen is located in the Glemmtal valley between Zell am See and Saalbach Hinterglemm, both around 9 km away. If travelling from Zell am See or Saalfelden, turn into the Glemmtal at Maishofen. From there, it is approximately 5 km to Viehhofen.
Travel by train to Zell am See. Bus No. 680 runs hourly between Zell am See and Viehhofen.
A public car park is located in the centre of Viehhofen and can be used free of charge during the day.
A cosy stop at the Hecherhütte makes the Glücksweg an even more enjoyable experience.
