Niedernsill: Hochkogel

From the hiking info point, follow the road to the roundabout and continue left through the underpass into Steindorfer Straße. Then follow hiking trail no. 3 and 5 via Gaisbichl to Hochprack. Pass the barrier, continue to the fork in the road and turn left. Then follow hiking trail no. 13 via the Bachrainalm to the Hochsonnberghütte (not managed). After the hut, turn left and ascend to the Pinzgauer Spaziergang trail. Follow this, trail no. 719 to the Klingler Törl. This is where the somewhat steeper ascent to the summit begins. The descent is the same route to the hut. Finally, hiking trails 13 and 748A lead via Steinbachriedel and Hochprack back to the starting point.
