Biberg - Huggenberg circular hike

The starting point of this hike is at the Gasthof Biberg (Kehlbach 28, 5760 Saalfelden). From here, head south along Kehlbachstraße, then turn west between two farms. Follow the signs to Astleitenalm. Then proceed along the wide forest road past Kasbichlalm to the Berggasthof Biberg. From here, continue along the signposted forest road to the Berggasthof Huggenberg. This is where the summer toboggan run begins. Alternatively, you can comfortably hike back along the forest road to the starting point at Gasthof Biberg.

Note: Ideal for families with somewhat older children

BY CAR

Coming from Saalfelden on the Pinzgauer Bundesstraße B311 towards Zell am See, follow the signs about 1 km after the Saalfelden town exit and turn right towards the summer toboggan run. The starting point at Gasthof Biberg (Kehlbach 28, 5760 Saalfelden) is on the right side.

BY TRAIN

BY BUS

The starting point at Gasthof Biberg (Kehlbach 28, 5760 Saalfelden) in the Saalfelden district of Kehlbach can be reached by Postbus from the Saalfelden town center. Parking is possible near the starting point. Please do not park in the Gasthof Biberg (Kehlbach 28, 5760 Saalfelden) parking lot – it is only for house guests.
