Fairy tale forest

Since 1986, the fairy tale forest has delighted children and adults alike, transporting visitors with its nostalgic charm into a world of dwarfs and fairies. The fairy tale forest is part of the KIDS HIKING CHALLENGE and KIDS WINTER CHALLENGE and is therefore worth a visit all year round. You can enter the themed path at several entrance gates. The most popular starting point is after the bus stop “Hinterglemm Stererfeldweg.” The path meanders past several stations towards the sports center. Here is also a great opportunity to start on this venerable path. However, when hiking with small children, a carrier is recommended, as steep ramps line the path. Some of the carved and lovingly designed stations tell the presented legends and fairy tales at the push of a button. Over the decades, the fairy tale forest has never lost its magic through the many - often voluntary - helping hands and continues to make children laugh and parents smile.
