Großarl: Bichlalm

First, it goes into the largest side valley of the Großarl valley, into the Ellmautal. At the Hotel Lammwirt, turn onto the goods road. Along the goods road, you pass the last farms into the spruce forest. By the way, there is a lit toboggan run here in winter.

When you come out of the forest, a magnificent view opens up. Here, at the two benches, it is definitely worth taking a short break and letting the landscape affect you. Almost without any elevation, the route continues to Bichlalm, where you are spoiled with delicacies such as bread, butter, bacon, or cheese from their own production. Sometimes there is also live music here.

Right next to the Bichlalm is a beautiful cross that invites all hikers and, of course, the cyclists, to pause for a moment.

Returning to Großarl is then on the same route.
