Naturbadesee Keutschacher See

Flat moors, wet forests, meadows and lakes characterize the Keutschacher Seental, which runs parallel to Lake Wörthersee. In the south, the valley is bordered by the slopes of the Sattnitz, in the north by the Pyramidenkogel hills.

Very good bathing water quality with temperatures over 25 °C. In limnological terms, Lake Keutschacher is classified as an oligotrophic nutrient type with very good bathing water quality. In the summer, the surface of the lake reaches very high water temperatures of over 25 °C in the middle of the lake, and the shore area warms up even more. In autumn, it cools down quickly. Lake Keutschacher is holomictic with two distinct circulation phases in spring and autumn.
