The hike starts in the hamlet of Kienberg near Kaisers, close to the Gasthof Alpenhof.
A special attraction in the upper Lech Valley is the pedestrian suspension bridge spanning the Kaiserbach gorge above the hamlet of Kienberg. At around 30 metres above the rushing Kaiserbach, the approximately 76-metre-long bridge leads to the opposite side of the valley.
