Refreshing cycling along the Radulja stream

We start our journey in Novo Mesto and drive along the Ljubljanska cesta towards Hmeljnik Castle. We continue along the forest path to the village of Jagodnik. A steep descent into Mirenska dolina, where we can refresh ourselves by the Radulja stream in the summer months, and after a steep climb we visit the church on the Koglo wine hill. Descent to Šmarjeta, where there is a cviček (wine) fountain in the summer. We continue the journey to Šmarješke Toplice and along the forest paths to Otočec Castle and along the new bicycle connection via Žiho sel to the village of Krka and through the forest via the Ragov log bridge to Novo mesto.There is a total of 44 km and a height difference of over 800 m. It is suitable for MTB and gravel bikes.
