The charm of the community - a mixture of industrial culture and rural idyll is enchanting.
Picturesque villages around the main town at the entrance to the Bärental determine the consistently rural atmosphere. Between the Drau and the Karawanks peaks around the Hochstuhl there are places for sporting activities and relaxation alike. In the rose community of Feistritz im Rosental there are special museums and galleries. In Suetschach there is the blacksmith's museum, the rose museum and the Gorše gallery. In Feistritz the historic Kraigher House and in Weizelsdorf the Ebenau Castle attract numerous visitors. There are numerous cultural events in the culture and communication center in St. Johann.

The Wahaha Paradise and the Juritz campsite offer pure relaxation. The restaurants and private room renters also know how to pamper our guests.

In recent years our community has established itself as a "rose community". Over 6,000 rose bushes of the finest variety were planted and a rose garden was also created. In spring, our forests are covered with a carpet of wild snowdrops. The water lilies in a variety of colors can also be admired in our publicly accessible natural ponds and natural bathing lakes.

Our rose festival is also a social event. All citizens, clubs and institutions identify with the rose idea and contribute their cooperation.

The rose community of Feistritz im Rosental offers a unique nature experience and a lot of leisure fun. The Drau cycle path R1 is one of the most popular cycle paths in Austria and runs through our entire rose community.
