Gibler Alm – Family-Friendly Alpine Retreat with Culinary Delights
The Gibler Alm, located at 1,208 metres above sea level, is a popular destination for the whole family. The leisurely ascent leads past the Bernhardstal Gorge and through shady forest sections to the alpine hut, which delights visitors with magnificent views and warm Tyrolean hospitality.
Families especially appreciate the spacious natural playground, offering children plenty of opportunities to play and explore. In winter, sledging and tobogganing bring smiles to young faces, while hikers, snowshoe walkers and ski tourers can look forward to a cosy stop after their outdoor adventures.
The Gibler Alm also has plenty to offer when it comes to food. One of the house specialties is the popular dumpling pan, featuring a variety of traditional Tyrolean dumplings served on savoury sauerkraut.
