Innerberg via Glän to Kristberg and back

The hike starts at the Gasthaus Mühle in Innerberg. You hike along the Glänweg and over the Totabühel to the Kristberg cable car mountain station. After a refreshment at the Knappastoba or Gasthof Kristberg, you hike back the same way to Innerberg.

Day hiking backpack (approx. 20 liters) with rain cover, comfortable and waterproof winter boots or sturdy hiking boots, possibly crampons and gaiters, warm and weatherproof clothing in layers, hat/headband, scarf, gloves, sun and rain protection, provisions and drinking water, thermos with hot drink, first aid kit, pocket knife, mobile phone, possibly headlamp, map material, possibly telescopic poles

Take the A14 to the Bludenz/Montafon exit and continue on Montafonerstraße L188 to St. Anton im Montafon. At St. Anton, turn left (directly at the station) and follow the road to Bartholomäberg

Just leave your car standing

The regional buses operate throughout Montafon. The main lines run every half hour from Schruns station.

Arrival by train to Montafon

From Bludenz station, the Montafon railway runs hourly (partly every half hour). There are also direct connections from Lindau (D) and from Bregenz.

Gasthaus Mühle Innerberg

There is the option to take the Kristberg cable car down to Silbertal and then return by public bus (No. 88) to Schruns. For this option, it is advisable to already take the public bus (No. 84) to Innerberg.
