A scenic ski tour on the sunny balcony leads the ascent initially over open meadows, followed by wooded areas. Above the tree line, an indescribable panorama opens, with views from the Silvretta to Lake Constance. The good accessibility and the south-facing slope promise a pleasant ski touring experience
With good snow conditions, you can start directly from the parking lot at the Baroque Church Bartholomäberg. The route mostly follows the signposted snowshoe trail. From Fritzasee, you briefly ascend northeast through the forest. At the alpine hut with the large cross, the track turns left towards northwest over a snow-covered cart road to open slopes. Here, the snowshoe trail is left, and the path now runs through clearings at the forest edge near Monteneu. From here, the track initially remains flat but then climbs steadily through dwarf pine growth up to the summit.
The descent follows the area of the ascent track. Note: descending through the forest is not allowed.
