Biodiversity ring

The Ring of Biodiversity, on the slopes of Mount Croseraz, is an itinerary immersed in the Cansiglio Forest that traverses rich and diverse natural environments. The basic route, suitable for hikers with a minimum of training and also for families accustomed to walking, runs through beech forests, clearings and scenic stretches, offering frequent opportunities to observe wildlife such as deer and roe deer.

It starts from Pian Rosada, first following the road to Pian Canaie and then a forest road that enters the forest. Along the way there are areas of forest renewal and large openings that make the trail varied and never monotonous. The trail is well-marked and has moderate elevation changes.

For those who want a more complete experience, the variants to Pian Scalon and the summit of Croseraz allow you to explore even more biodiversity-rich environments and enjoy wider views. These options are recommended for more experienced and trained hikers.
