Get ready for an unforgettable winter adventure that takes you through the breathtaking landscape around the Filzensattel! Your hike begins on the prepared forest road gently leading towards the Grünegg Alm. Feel the fresh, clear mountain air as you take the first steps into this winter idyll. After about 1.5 km, you will discover a small, inviting path on the right side that leads you to the Gabühel Hut and the Steinbockalm. Pay close attention, because before you reach the Gabühel Hut, you have to cross the ski slope once again – CAUTION! This also gives you the opportunity to watch the lively hustle and bustle of skiers and soak up the feeling of winter energy. Once you reach the Gabühel Hut, you will be warmly welcomed by the hostess Klara, who is happy about every stopover! Let yourself be enchanted by the cozy atmosphere and the aroma of freshly prepared meals. Here, you can refresh yourself with a warm dish and enjoy the view of the impressive mountain peaks. But that is not all! From the Gabühel Hut, a short path to the left next to the mountain station leads to the chic ski hut Steinbockalm, only about 5 minutes away. This Alm invites you to linger on the sunny terrace and enjoy the winter sun. Imagine sitting comfortably outside, surrounded by snow-covered mountains, and letting your soul unwind with a cup of hot chocolate or a refreshing punch.

From the Filzensattel path no. 50, follow the prepared forest road towards the Grünegg Alm. After about 1.5 km, a path branches off on the right towards the Gabühel Hut or Steinbockalm. Before reaching the Gabühel Hut, you must cross the ski slope once again (CAUTION!). At the Gabühel Hut, the hostess Klara is happy about every stopover! From the Gabühel Hut, a path continues to the left next to the mountain station to the ski hut Steinbockalm, only 5 minutes away – it is very pleasant to relax on the sun terrace there. Return to Filzensattel via the ascent path.
