Directly next to Hotel Hubertus, a path leads uphill through the forest to Kreuzhäusl. At the crossroads, turn left towards Rossberg. The path passes Hotel Abelhof towards the forest in Pinzgau. Shortly after Abelhof there are two options. Either choose the lower hiking trail past Sommerlehen Bauer, or hike a bit further uphill and thus reach Plenkenbauer via Seerain. Above Hotel Graf Recke, the path passes Klaffaubauer and Hieburg returning to the Venedigersiedlung. Continue over Mitterbergpromenade to Dürnbachau and then back to Neukirchen to the starting point.

On the B 165 towards Wald and before Rossberg turn into the village of Neukirchen and follow the signs to Hotel Hubertus.
By local train to Mittersill and then further by bus line 670 to Neukirchen
