3-summit route with Hochkogel

Ascent with the Schattberg X-press to the mountain station. Good physical condition is required for the steep climb from Seetörl to Hochkogel. The further crossing of the rock ridge at Hochsaalbachkogel requires sure-footedness and partly a bit of a head for heights.

The easy descent over Medalkogel, Hacklbergeralm and Bergstadl rounds off this route.

From Hinterglemm to Saalbach to the Schattberg X-press there are daily bus connections. It is also possible to return to Saalbach via the Saalach promenade (walking time approx. 1 hour)
