Above 2,000 meters these are high alpine hiking trails, with much snow and snowfields still to be expected in some parts. Good high alpine experience and equipment are required for this route.
Via B311 to Rauris, via the bypass road to Wörth, Bucheben and further to the Bodenhaus inn. Via the toll road to the Lenzanger car park.
By Postbus line 640 (June to September) to the Lenzanger car park or valley end.
Parking available at Lenzanger car park (paid, toll fee €9 per car, as of 2024).

Accommodation available at Schutzhaus Neubau. Descent possible via trail No. 119 to Ammererhof or via the Barbara Waterfall to the Nature Friends' House. Visit the National Park exhibition "Zimmererhütte" next to the Nature Friends' House (open June to October).
