Wallersee Circular Route

The Wallersee circular route is less demanding than the larger Wallersee circuit and suitable for everyone – whether a short training ride, a cozy family bike outing, or just a detour into nature. This circular route is signposted and runs mostly directly beside the lake.

The route specially signed as the “Wallersee Circular Route” starts at the Seekirchen beach bath and runs along the west shore. Then follows a nice section through the Wenger Moor. Here you can learn a lot about the fauna and flora of the area, as many information panels about the inhabitants are located in this nature reserve. There is even a viewing platform that offers a view over the raised bog, where you can take a short break in untouched nature.

After the Neumarkt beach bath, it goes southwards towards Henndorf, where the next beach bath awaits you. After a short steep section to Enzing, it immediately goes downhill again to the Henndorf beach bath. There you can enjoy the warm water of the Wallersee and treat yourself to a delicious ice cream for refreshment.
