Starting point: Office de Tourisme - Palais des Congrès. To start the tour, follow the signs for the Centre Port as far as the Ferris Wheel.

La grande Conque: the rocky coastline, eroded by the sea, suggests a crescent-shaped beach with black sand and transparent water, ideal for swimming and discovering the rich underwater life. The 21-metre-high cliff's tip offers a view of Cap d'Agde, the coastline and the sea, as well as the two rocks known as the "two brothers", ancient volcanic cones that have become famous according to legend: two majestic rocks attributed by Poseidon to the two brothers who rescued a beautiful mermaid from the waters.

Departing from the "Plagette", 2 marine itineraries let you discover the protected marine area of the Agatha coast. 1/ "Hiking at sea" itinerary: this sea route is marked out so that you can swim in open water and discover the biodiversity and underwater world of the Mediterranean. 2/ Underwater trail: 200m long, this trail allows you to snorkel in 5 different types of underwater environment between 0 and 5m, and discover the volcanic seabed. Cap d'Agde marina: from the Ferris wheel, take a stroll along the quays of the port center, lined with stores and restaurants, and enjoy the view of the boats alongside.

Directional: take the stairs on your left to reach the footbridge and cross the road.

Volcanic cliffs: the path you take offers a magnificent panorama of the cliffs: this relief is the result of marine volcanism that appeared around 750,000 years ago and is the southern extremity of the Auvergne chain of volcanoes.

Plage du Môle: from this small beach with its translucent waters and black basalt rocks, you can see Sète's Mont Saint-Clair in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea.

Table d'orientation: from this vantage point, on a clear day, you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of the coastline, the Pyrenean chain, Cap d'Agde, the hinterland with the Monts de l'Espinouse and Mont Saint Clair in Sète.

Fort Brescou: take the jetty all the way to the end and discover the magnificent panorama of Fort Brescou, erected in 1856 by Viscount Guillaume de Joyeuse to prevent the rock from being used as a stronghold by the Spanish during the Wars of Religion. On the way back, enjoy the view of Cap d'Agde's outer harbor, home to 3,100 mooring rings.
