Wiener Neustadt - Lichtenwörth & back by bike

<p>The starting point is the Hotel "Hilton Garden Inn", which offers (e-)bike rentals. After passing the Military Academy and riding through Akademiepark, the EuroVelo cycle route runs, from which you turn off towards Lichtenwörth. Here, it is best to indulge in delicious home-style cooking at Gasthaus Halbwax before setting off strengthened for the return journey. In Lichtenwörth, a visit to the idyllic Villateich and the Nadelburg with its museum is recommended. The path leads us back along the Thermal Cycle Path by the Leitha heading towards Wiener Neustadt. Before heading back to the city, a rest at "zur Ulme"—a summer refreshment spot in the green—is worthwhile. Then it's back to Wiener Neustadt, passing the Akademiebad. The diverse gastronomy and shopping opportunities at the main square form the end of the bike ride. From there, it is just a stone's throw back to the starting point.</p>
