The Energy2Run Cancano is a running race held in the Cancano valley in Valdidentro, in the heart of the Stelvio National Park. The peculiarity of the competition is that the race route is entirely at 2,000 m of altitude, with minimal elevation gain. It is therefore an event that attracts a wide audience, due to its technical characteristics.
NON-COMPETITIVE RUN
The race route is almost entirely on a flat white road running alongside Lake Cancano
10 km to be covered in one go: participation is therefore open also to young people from 14 years old (completed).
After the huge success of the 2024 edition, which recorded a record number of participants, the Cancano Lakes are ready to welcome new athletes, enthusiasts among its valleys, for an amazing new edition!

Competitors are allowed to run self-sufficiently, with backpack, waist bag, water bottle, etc., provided that the race bib is visible at control points.
Use of a k-way raincoat is recommended in case of wind or rain.
Use of poles or ski sticks is permitted.
At the refreshment point on the second dam wall, suitable drinks and energy supplies will be available.
It is strictly forbidden to litter along the race route, outside refreshment points.
The participation fee includes:
race bib RCT insurance and medical assistance guaranteed by the Italian Red Cross race pack refreshments on the course refreshment at the end of the race for each athlete meal voucherThe Cancano Lakes are directly accessible by car.
Since this is a VASP road (agro-forestry-pastoral road), it is necessary to obtain a specific daily ticket, which is provided free of charge by the organizers for all athletes registered for the event.
The Cancano lakes are accessible via an asphalt road that runs along a panoramic climb with 20 hairpin bends.
A free shuttle service is provided for all athletes departing from Isolaccia (Valdidentro)
No other public transportation is scheduled on the day of the sporting event.
Parking is available at the Palazzina A2A square and in the parking areas immediately afterward, along the road leading to the dam.
The parking areas are well signposted.
