Welcome,
Many thanks for your enquiry and your interest. You will not regret your choice as Castelbello-Ciardes is the perfect destination for those who want to relax and recover.
The hiking area around Castelbello-Ciardes is sunny and varied. This community rich in castles is embedded between Texel Group Nature Park and Stelvio National Park and offers relaxation in unparalleled nature. Hike to lonely and steeply situated farms, to crystal clear mountain lakes or to one of the numerous Alpine pasture huts.
Castelbello-Ciardes is surrounded by Kastelbell Castle, which is picturesquely set on a mighty rock, and Juval Castle, one of the five Messner Mountain Museums and summer residence of extreme mountain climber Reinhold Messner.
High quality food such as asparagus from Castelbello but also delicate wines and fine distillates are produced around Castelbello and Ciardes. We spoil you with these delicacies in typical restaurants, traditional inns, alpine pasture huts and even a Michelin starred restaurant.
These are only some of many things to see and experience in Castelbello- Ciardes
Yours sincerely
