The regular festivals and events in the Argenhalle provide an insight into the lively club life of the community.
The parish church of St. Gallus in Gestratz was built between 1435 and 1437 and was a pilgrimage church until the Thirty Years' War. The Gothic frescoes on the choir walls, attributed to Hans Striegel the Elder, are an art-historical treasure.
A visit to the cheese dairy is also worthwhile: in the morning you can look over the dairyman's shoulders as he makes fine alpine cheese.
