Wildschloss route

The Wildschloss route starts at the Forstwerkhof of the municipality of Schaan and initially leads almost flat southwards on the much frequented Fürstenweg. In the uppermost part of the village of Vaduz, the short ascent to the Wildschloss ruin begins, whose walls date back to the 12th century. On a hiking trail, there is a challenging, steep, and narrow descent downhill, past the so-called Spörry pond, an artificially created reservoir for power generation. The further return route leads northwards through varied forest areas and along the idyllic Iraggell meadow back to the Forstwerkhof.
