Under the Friedenskapelle chapel, you head north-east on the Sassweg trail and gather your first impressions of the magnificent mountain nature with many flowers (plant conservation area). At Sass-Fürkle you leave the road and head first over a pasture board, then on the eastern slope of the Stachlerkopf via a partly secured mountain path to the flower-covered south-western ridge of the Schönberg.

For the way back, take the marked hiking trail via Bärg to Malbun.

The tour up the Schönberg is one of the most popular hikes in the Principality. During the flowering season in June and July, the mountain world is particularly colorful. The magnificent location in the middle of the Liechtenstein Alps, the magnificent view of the surrounding mountains and the easy ascent make the Schönberg a popular hiking destination.
