The start and finish point of the circular hike is located on the Bürchneralp, directly behind the Panorama restaurant. You cross the beautiful winter landscape around Bürchner- and Moosalp through loose larch forests and open meadows. The highlight of the hike is the breathtaking view from the "Stand." From here you enjoy the 360° panoramic view of the Valais mountain world with numerous 4000-meter peaks. You also overlook almost the entire Upper Valais from this point.

You can rent snowshoes at the following places: Zenhäusern Sport, Panorama restaurant, Dorbia mountain restaurant, Moosalp restaurant
You travel to us by train through the NEAT base tunnel via Visp station. From there you reach Bürchen by the direct post bus line, post bus stop "Station."

You can reach the Alpuschnaager, our piste taxi to Moosalp, in about a 15-minute walk. (see https://www.moosalpregion.ch/angebot/alpuschnaager/). The valley station of the chairlift is located directly at the post bus stop. From the chairlift mountain station it is about a 30-minute walk to Bürchneralp.
Moosalp can be reached all year by car from Stalden - Törbel. The post bus Stalden - Törbel only runs in winter to Törbel Z'Niwu (ski lift).
Parking spaces (paid) are available at the post bus stop "Station" in Bürchen and on Moosalp.
At the start and finish point is the Panorama restaurant, where you can indulge yourself gastronomically.
