From here the trail enters the heart of the Cansiglio forest, among beech trees and silences that accompany the ascent. The trail gradually gains altitude, maintaining a steady and never overly technical course, making it accessible to hikers with a minimum of training.
Leaving the woods, the landscape suddenly changes: the communal pastures near Col Indes open up, where the gaze can wander freely. From this vantage point there is a wide and rewarding view of the Dolomites and Val Belluna, a perfect reward for the climb faced.
