Treasure hunt village round Ochsengarten

Start at the parking lot to the right after the information and hike to the bridge. Walk over the bridge and take a curve towards the forest.

Here you should immediately look for the first cache. It is located on the right side in the forest. Once you have found the cache and noted the letters, you can walk comfortably through the forest. The path is very wide, so a stroller can also be pushed without problems.

Soon you will reach cache two. Watch for the big tree that you can already see from afar. Cache two is also on the right side but not directly on the path. You will have to go a bit into the bushes.

After cache two you will soon come to a junction – please stay to the left here and keep close to the stream (Nederbach). After a short distance, you will get closer to the stream and a wooden bridge follows. But stop, before you cross it, please don't forget to look for cache 3. After putting it back in its place, you now cross the bridge and must immediately cross the main road to the other side. On this side, you walk again through the forest back towards Ochsengarten village. The wide forest path runs near the main road but is still in the forest. Soon you will come to a bench and a small bridge that leads into the forest. Here you look for the last cache to get your treasure.

After cache 4 it’s not far and you arrive at a large forest playground.

At the end, you can pick up your treasure at the Ochsengarten information.

Hiking boots or sneakers, snack and drink

You have to cross the main road once – please be careful here.

Take the B186 to Oetz and from there the Kühtaistraße L237 to Ochsengarten.

By bus to Ochsengarten

Park at the cable car in the village or in the small parking lot to the right after the Ochsengarten information.

The playground is worth a visit.
