Our goal is the picturesque mountain of Hom with the Dragov dom mountain cabin. The route starts in Žalec and continues towards the Vrbje pond. In Šešče we cross the bridge and take the road towards Matke....
Our goal is the picturesque mountain of Hom with the Dragov dom mountain cabin. The route starts in Žalec and continues towards the Vrbje pond. In Šešče we cross the bridge and take the road towards Matke. We follow the blue mountain bike trail markings, turn left after Matke and start cycling uphill. After a steep ascent to the mountain cabin in the former sexton’s house there’s a reward: an astounding view on the Lower Savinja Valley. We descend towards Griže, a village not far from Žalec.
