As the name suggests, the route largely follows the boundaries of the municipality of Birkheim. It passes the former mill in the Niederbachtal. There you can see the remains of the mill before heading up to the Niederbachtal viewpoint. The next rest is at "Am Hennewieschen".
After a nice view of the town, it goes on to the Himmelsteich. Children will especially enjoy it there.
They also have fun at the rest stop with the tree Mikado. But you also learn something about water supply and bat protection.
A special feature is the children's forest, which was planted in autumn 2024 by the families of the town.
A perfect finish awaits on the last kilometers through the Wiesental between Badenhard and Birkheim.
