This 9 km long, easy walking route starts from the village of Ruka and runs beside Rukatunturi as well as circles around Lammintupa approaching Vuosselijärvi. The route offers beautiful views of Rukatunturi. Walking through the terrain of Vuosselijärvi, the route provides lovely scenery of ponds, swamps, and forests.
The route is easy with no significant altitude differences.
Route markings: Vuosselin reitti signs Trail cafés along the route: Uuttusuo Rest Cabin, Korpikahvila and Lammintupa café. Open during the winter season.The Vuosseli outdoor route is a multi-use route, suitable for cycling and walking all year round. In winter, the route also features classic and skating cross-country ski tracks. Dog walking on the multi-use route is only allowed during summer.
The start of the route follows the light traffic route from the village of Ruka via the Juhannuskallio roundabout to the Vuosseli area. At the corner of the Vuosseli ski slope area, turn onto Vuosselinrinne road, then turn onto Kinospolku. From Kinospolku, follow the Vuosseli Outdoor Route signs to Lammintupa.

During certain months of the winter season, you can reach Lammintupa from/to the village of Ruka and Ruka Valley by bus. You can therefore plan a trip where you walk one way and return by bus the other way. The Lammintupa Bus is free for Lammintupa customers.
