At Meranovo

Today, the tradition is continued by the Faculty of Agriculture and Biosystems Engineering at the University of Maribor. The route can be continued further to Andrej's apiary and then through the lush Pohorje forests all the way to the Home on Pečke.

At Meranovo, you can visit the memorial room and the statue of Archduke John with a panorama of Maribor, a descendant of the Old vine, an old press from 1827, and collections of old tools and devices for viticulture and cellar work. You have the opportunity to buy and taste the local wines.
