Cycloexcursion ride around Chieri (TO)

Pedaling in the heart of the Oltre Collina Torinese: a journey through history, nature and flavors
Departure from the former slaughterhouse in Chieri for a two-wheeled adventure combining culture and landscape. The first loop (15 km) runs completely on the plains. Along comfortable bike paths we reach Pessione (historic home of Martini & Rossi with its fascinating museum) and enjoy a gourmet stop in Castelguelfo, where food and wine tradition and territory meet. The return trip goes via the "Riva presso Chieri-Chieri" bike path, a safe and scenic route.
The second loop (10 km) changes register: we leave the plain for an evocative hilly route that takes us to the small church of Sant'Irene (called Superghetta because of its architectural similarities with the basilica of Superga), a small jewel among the vineyards. Breathtaking views of the hills passing by the recent Bosco delle Turriglie to the modern bike/pedestrian walkway that takes us back to the center. The last stop touches the Textile Museum, testimony to Chieri's industrial vocation, before closing the route.
