Arnsberg High Trail

This nearly 32 km long circular route is more suitable for experienced hikers. The ideal start and end point of the hike is the hiking parking lot in the Mühlbach valley in the Arnsberg-Rumbeck district. Follow the trail marker first towards the Poetry Trail and then on to the Hellefelder Höhe. Passing the "Hubertus Pöstchen" you will reach the Ochsenkopf hiking parking lot. From there, follow the trail markers through dense forest and areas with wonderful views to the Arnsberg-Wennigloh district. Via "Kapune" the route now runs partially parallel to the "Kurfürstlicher Thiergarten" hiking trail (AR1). The next destination is the Obereimer district, the former knight's estate. From here the path runs along the Ruhr, then through the Berbketal to the Bocckstation hiking parking lot. From here it continues towards Oeventrop and back to the starting point at the Poetry Trail in the Mühlbach valley.
