Herzsteinweg - Yspertal No. 34

<p>From Ysper, the trail leads along the road in the direction of St. Oswald to the entrance of the forest nature trail, continue following the markings, and after about 400 m the trail branches off to the left onto a gravel road, from where it goes uphill on beautiful forest paths through high mixed forests to the Weißenberg. There you meet up with the circular trail from St. Oswald (see tour no. 11). The stage destinations are the "Große Reitstein" and the legendary "Steinerne Kornmandl". Shortly afterwards, at the tool shed, you reach the "Totenkopf" (dead man's head) and the Weißenbergkreuz (Weissenberg cross) via a short branch path. Back to the shed, continue along the path to the imposing "Herzstein". There the paths to St. Oswald and Ysper separate again. Walking a few hundred metres in the direction of Dorfstetten, you will see the Hauswiesenmoor (special flora - please do not enter!). On the way back, you pass a few more vantage points, meet the panorama trail and the forest nature trail, and reach the market square of Ysper again.</p>
