Feistritzal Route – E-bike
The tour starts in Kirchberg am Wechsel at the municipal office in the direction of Sport Tauchner, there turn right into the Feistritztal cycle path and follow the cycle path to Otterthal. At the fire station in Otterthal, turn left into the main road and at the next crossroads turn right towards Raach am Hochgebirge. Follow the road until you reach Schlagl, then turn right towards Raach, past the Diewald guesthouse and continue straight on to the Ramswirt Inn. At Ramswirt, take the third left (towards Landgasthof Fally). Continue straight along the road, past Fally country inn to the Urbank chapel. Turn right there until you reach the centre of Feistritz. Cross the road, cross the bridge and follow the signs for the Feistritztalradweg to Kirchberg am Wechsel on the right. Pass the sports field and turn left at the next junction and keep right at the next junction. Follow the road and turn right at the Hotel Molzbachhof, turn right again at the next junction and follow the road to the starting point.
Preparation
When choosing a route, make sure it suits your experience and condition. Check the weather forecast in advance. The weather can change surprisingly quickly in the mountains. Therefore, always set off equipped accordingly (e.g. rain protection).
Check whether the inns and snack stations you want to visit on the way are open. Inform someone about your choice of route and your planned return before you set off.
Coming from Graz on the Südautobahn A2, take the exit Grimmenstein, Bundesstraße 54 to Wanghof and turn right to Feistritz.
