Maria Seesal-Runde (kurze Variante ab Waidhofen)

For the shorter route, you start your journey in Waidhofen and follow the picturesque Ybbstal cycle path upstream to Opponitz. The short Seesal variant is a special case: It initially leads in the opposite direction and only joins up with the long variant in Opponitz.Once in Opponitz, turn right at the Bruckwirt. From there, the route leads through the charming village and then uphill towards Kleine Kripp. After a sharp bend to the left, continue in the direction of Ybbsitz. Cycle along the idyllic Prolling for 4.5 kilometres until you reach the important junction to the right to Gut Theuretzbach - don't miss it. The route then leads over the hill to the spiritual destination of Maria Seesal. From there, the route continues via Ybbsitz back to Waidhofen.
