Z nádraží Spitz do Schwallenbachu po nezpevnÄné polní cestÄ k poutnímu místu Maria Laach. Trasa nás pak zavede na Hochjauerling s neuvÄÅitelnými výhledy do údolí Dunaje. Po návratu do Spitzu pojedeme na kole pÅes Äervenou bránu divokým a romantickým údolím Miesling do Habrucku. PokraÄujeme po lesních cestách s výhledem na hrad Oberranna, dále do Mühldorfu a Vießlingu zpÄt k železniÄní stanici Spitz.
From Spitz train station, the route goes through the wild and romantic Miesling Valley via Wolfenreith to Bengelbach. From there, we ride over forest roads that offer a beautiful view of Oberranna Castle, through Mühldorf to Vießling. The high path to Gut am Steg offers fantastic views into the Spitzer Graben with its steep vineyard terraces and leads us into the wine village of Spitz, where we can enjoy Spitz Castle and the very pretty marketplace. Back at the train station, we ride to Schwallenbach and from there via an unpaved country road to the pilgrimage site Maria Laach. Now the route leads us to Hochjauerling with its incredible views deep into the Danube Valley. We still overcome the hay path and then ride back to the starting point.
A respectful interaction with other forest users or hunting and forestry personnel is as natural as avoiding litter. The Biker Fair Play rules are intended to embody these principles and can be found both on analogue maps and various websites. Here are the rules in detail:
Use of marked bike routes is only permitted during contractually fixed periods: March, October from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; April, September from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; May to August from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.Respectful behavior towards landowners, hunting and forestry personnel!Consideration for other forest users!Ride at half visibility with controlled speed!Caution regarding work machines, wood or potholes on the road, grazing livestock, and motor vehicle traffic (forest roads are work areas and workplaces)!Observe traffic regulations!Consider cleanliness in nature!Check equipment and wear helmets!Riding off the routes and outside the permitted times is illegal. Observe driving bans and closures!Use of the bike routes at your own risk!A1 to Melk and over the B3 to Spitz or via the S5 or S33 to Krems and over the B3 to Spitz.
