This route through the pre-Pyrenean basins that starts in Ochagavía, in the heart of the Navarre Pyrenees, will allow us to contemplate a great variety of landscapes in just 120 km. It starts in the most mountainous part, linking the ascents to Jaurrieta, Erremendia and the Abaurreas. After passing the town of Aribe and after a short climb, we begin the descent through the valley of Arce, following the Urrobi riverbed, which takes us to the banks of the Itoiz reservoir.

At this point we face two short but intense climbs that bring us close to the vicinity of Aoiz, where the transition from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean landscape is clearly evident. We continue towards Lumbier, at which point we start our return. On the way, a small mountainous difficulty awaits us, the Puerto de Iso. Here we can make a stop and deviate slightly from the road to enjoy, from the height, the spectacular views of the Arbaiun gorge. Now we only have to cross the Salazar Valley by a pleasant road that leads to Ochagavía.
