It represents one of the most interesting and best-preserved half-coast rural settlements in the Province of Sondrio. We are in Piuro, 932 meters above sea level on the south-facing side of the Italian Val Bregaglia. From the church square it is possible to admire the whole valley.

DEPARTURE: To access the trail start from the municipality of Villa di Chiavenna by car taking via Bregaglia, until you meet the road to Savogno; here you find a large dirt parking lot from which you can start with the joelette.
ROUTE: DURATION CIRCA 20/30 min. in the first part we find dirt surface, in the central part the path is narrower and with several steps in some sections that require more effort and caution. Once you reach the village, it is possible to visit it through its mostly dirt and flat streets, admiring the characteristic wooden and stone houses. Alternatively, it is possible to take a second return path located upstream from the village of the same length as the outward path that rejoins the dirt road.
