Le Creste is a 5 km long trail that connects Termini, the area located above the Perinaldo tunnel, to a corner of the Giro del Marzocco track, from which you can enjoy amazing views of Sanremo. Starting in San Romolo, head towards the animal farm, pass it and, after about 500 m, back on the main road that leads to the junction with the track to Perinaldo, keep right and continue for just 2 km. As soon as you reach a fire-break track that climbs quite steep on your left, turn onto it and continue for about 300 m to the crossroads where you will turn left, into Le Creste trail. Carry on uphill and keep always to the right: you will come across a number of junctions, but to maintain the correct direction you have to keep riding along the mountain ridge, until you reach the junction with the track to Monte Caggio. There, past a dirt road that you do not take, turn left, continue along a short descent that offers a nice flow, and reach the bottom of a portage section: only 50 m long and the trail is rideable again, with exciting passages on rock-slabs. At the following junction, you can go in either directions as the tracks converge just ahead. The track to the left is more fun with a descent among the chestnut trees, at the end of which turn right, ride a short uphill section and join the main track. If instead you choose the track to the right, go straight riding the ups and downs along the ridge. Carry on and ride through the many up and down sections until you reach Monte Carparo, the mountain overlooking Sanremo; destination for the paraglide enthusiasts, it is not uncommon to see spectacular launches towards Sanremo. On Monte Carparo, to your left, you will find the signs to reach Giro del Marzocco, an entirely downhill trail with plenty of corners that takes you back to the main road.

Access by car: Exit the motorway at the tollbooth of Sanremo, take the Provincial road SP56 in the direction of San Romolo.
