Manìe Mània

From Finale Ligure continue towards Calvisio until you reach the junction with the road to Verzi, where you turn right. Then turn left, following the directions to Strada Romana Julia Augusta. From the dirt road, you can admire the Verzi menhir and three of the five Roman bridges. Past the third bridge, approaching a T-junction, turn right and keep going uphill until you reach the Manie plateau. When you are not far from the restaurant, the track turns sharply to the left. Continue your climb: the dirt road will soon become trail and it will soon take you to the Andrassa meadows. Traverse the meadows and join the Manie Provincial road, until you reach Bric dei Crovi. At the fork keep left: this is the start of the exciting Toboga of '24 ore di Finale', the famous Endurance race that takes place every year at Manie. The loop of the 24-hour race ends near a restaurant adjacent to the Manie Provincial road. From there, a dirt track takes you to the Briga pub, where a single-track with the same name begins, taking you towards the sea. Keep left, until you reach the cemetery of Verzi and then make a U-turn to the left. Follow the trail and you will soon be back to the start point.
