Many beautiful hiking trails around Langenbruck invite you to go for a walk and enjoy nature and the view. In Langenbruck you will also find a solar toboggan run and a rope park, which are very popular. There is a Kneipp facility in the village for health-conscious visitors and Langenbruck is also an ideal place for sporting leisure activities such as biking, Nordic walking or horse riding. The municipality also has a lively club scene, which organises cultural and social events. In winter, Langenbruck has two ski lifts (the only ones in Baselland) and offers snowshoe hikes and cross-country skiing.
Places of interest
The sights in Langenbruck include the Schönthal Monastery dating from 1140, the sculpture trail with works by famous international and Swiss artists, the old Roman road at the pass crossing at Oberer Hauenstein, the military observation post on the Lauchfluh dating from the First World War, as well as the remains of Bechburg Castle, Falkenstein Castle, Wildenstein Castle and Waldenburg Castle.
