A beautiful hike past the Alte Burg to Treffenboden. Wonderful panoramic views of the Maltatal and the Hohe Tauern.
Along the town we continue until "Ötzbauer", shortly before via the Büchsenweg towards Schloßbichl.
Past the "Bauchwehbründl" along the residential area and then back over the cycle path to Gmünd.
Through the Upper Town Gate - left to the Altweiberkapelle – up to the Alte Burg – straight on – at the next junction turn right to ascend towards Treffenboden – over the dirt road to the asphalt road – continue left into the town center – past the Mölzer house, continue straight left – after the locality, left downwards towards "Ötzbauer" – before the house, left downwards over the Büchsenweg to Schloßbichl – straight on – across the state road L12 to connect to the cycle path – over the cycle path and the church square back to the main square.
